My name is Margaret Rose and I am a CIW Registered Childminder based in Penrhyncoch, near Aberystwyth in beautiful West Wales. I have 20 years of experience as a Registered Childminder. I provide home from home childcare in a quality setting which allows your child to play and develop in a safe and friendly environment while also having lots of fun and making new friends. I cater for children aged between 0 and 12 years old. I also provide after school and holiday care for older children and at the moment collect from Plascrug and Rhydypennau schools. The childminding is based in my home where I have a large playroom and back garden in which the children can play, learn, develop, and explore. I also take children on trips outside the home. This include trips to local toddler groups, the library, local playgrounds, and the surrounding countryside to mention just a few. The language of our home is English; however, I am able to use some Welsh with the children. I have two assistants, my daughter, Bethan, who works with me full time and my husband, Stephen, who works with us on a part time basis. The other people in my home are my other children, Thomas, Christopher and Eleanor.

My Qualifications Level 5 in Childcare, Learning and Development (Management) Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development Level 3 in Playwork Level 2 in Food and Nutrition for the Under 5's Paediatric First Aid Qualification Child Protection Food Hygiene I also attend regular training events which have recently covered topics such as Autism Awareness, Behaviour Management, Outdoor Play. Bethan has also been on regular training events and studied Childcare and Education for 2 years in Coleg Ceredigion. As well as her level 3 in Childcare and Education, she has a level 3 in Playwork, First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene. I have an up to date DBS (CRB) certificate as do Stephen, Bethan, Thomas and Christopher.
