Norfolk Lodge Montessori Day Nursery provides Outstanding childcare for children aged between 6 months and 5 years old from our bespoke setting in Barnet, Hertfordshire. We use the teaching methods developed by Maria Montessori and our aim is to provide purposeful and stimulating activities which enhance each child's growth and development.Our large, bright classroom offers plenty of space for children to learn and explore. The Montessori equipment is thoughtfully arranged with everything at a low level for all ages to access independently.Our enriching Ready for School programme focuses on early academic skills with Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, giving every child the opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Engaging learning experiences continue through our educational partnerships, including the innovative and well-established Boogie Mites programme.Set in 2 acres of land, Norfolk Lodge has a vast outdoor area for children to play, have fun, explore and learn, with the freedom to access a range of age appropriate resources. We have a covered outside play area for the younger children and a fully fenced woodland area perfect for children to expand their curiosity. There are also areas offering lots of physical fun, with climbing frames and a soft surfaced court with bikes and scooters for the children to enjoy. Our Norfolk Lodge day nursery in Barnet is open from 8.00am until 6.00pm each day, although classes start at 8.45am or 9.00am and end at 3.45pm or 4.00pm. During the long summer holidays, educational, arts and sporting activities are available for 5 weeks.
