Whetstone Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Magic) is a well-resourced and purpose-built nursery carefully designed to support your child’s education and development, from 3 months to 5 years.Our nursery offers children a warm, cosy environment where each age-appropriate room has play and learning resources to engage the natural curiosity of your child. We have a glass wall that separates our two-to-three year old room from our preschooler room. This helps to prepare the children for smooth transitions into preschool. There is a lot of natural light in both our under twos rooms, and our baby room has a relaxing, homely feel.The atmosphere is one of fun and active play and the staff use the children’s interests to plan stimulating activities, challenging their growing independence, confidence and understanding. Children especially love our roof top terrace garden where they can enjoy the sand and water trays.The team at Whetstone nursery supports all aspects of learning and development prioritised by the EYFS and we follow our own unique Growing Enhancements programme for preschoolers. This includes Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians, alongside Growing Artists, Growing Scientists and Creative Cooks.
