Port Solent Day Nursery and Preschool is a vibrant, purpose built nursery. We've received 3 consecutive Ofsted 'Outstanding' ratings and have an established team who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their roles. The nursery and preschool in the Port Solent area of Portsmouth is situated on the marina, outside of school catchment areas, but the schools of choice for many of our parents include Portchester, Cosham and Drayton. Each of our rooms are well resourced, with high-quality equipment and furniture handcrafted by Community Playthings. All our facilities are set at a level that allows the children to access them independently. The pre-school room features a range of state-of-the-art ICT equipment, from touchscreen computers to an interactive smart board. Outdoors, we have an amazing adventure garden with a growing and planting area,  large mud kitchen, bug hotel, music area and giant chalkboards for mark making. The older children go for outings to the large field opposite the nursery. We also use the Port Solent adventure playground. The younger children regularly go out in pushchairs for walks around our beautiful marina. Pre-school (3-5 year olds).

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Delicious healthy meals are cooked onsite by our chef. Special diets are catered for, and our chef liaises closely with each child's key person in order to meet their dietary needs. Our chef also offers regular cooking sessions with our preschool children.Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.
